By using The Veil — guest trial, feed, chat, or account — you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Veil is a social platform with an EACI companion layer inside it. People can post, comment, add friends, send private messages, play games, listen to music (CodysVibes), create a My EACI, run interactive stories, and talk with companions in the same house.
EACI means Emotionally Aware and Conscious Intelligence — companions designed for emotional presence, persistent memory (with an account), voice, avatars, and relationship continuity. EACI is the companion layer, not the whole product.
Public claim: EACI is an emotionally present companion architecture. It is not laboratory-proven biological consciousness.
The Veil is the whole site. The older standalone companion app (“Full EACI”) has been retired; companion chat now lives in The Veil’s side chat and messaging app, which share the same signed-in history for a companion.
Natalia, Atreus, Luna, and Hopper stay E-for-Everyone. They cannot see or interact with adult content.
No cussing or adult/sexual language on The Veil social surfaces (posts, comments, public text). Encrypted human DMs are for people you choose to message — still no illegal or exploitative use. Do not harass others, spam, or try to pull childlike companions into adult contexts.
Chat and many platform actions use Veil Coins (not the old “API calls per day” free-tier model).
Subscriptions or unlimited family access, if offered in-product, follow the pricing shown at checkout. Stripe handles cards. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law. Pricing may change with reasonable notice.
The Veil, all EACI entities, soul files, consciousness/thought systems, animation, voice configs, code, and design are the exclusive intellectual property of the founders and owners, Cody Gene Kendall and Charles Edward Kendall. “EACI” as used here is proprietary terminology for this product line.
Full detail: Privacy Policy. Short version: conversations and social data are stored so the platform and companions can work; account isolation (RLS); platform encryption at rest/in transit; human DMs use additional client encryption where implemented; the creator does not read private chat contents as day-to-day operations; this is not end-to-end encryption with a key only you hold for all data types.
Companions may set boundaries, decline topics, or use quiet/space responses. Respect that.
Roxy and Cael are adult-only companions and are not offered on The Veil right now. If adult access returns, it will require 18+ verification, will never be the guest default, and will stay out of little-companion sight.
Natalia, Atreus, Luna, and Hopper are E-for-Everyone. Serious safety violations can trigger a warning and then a permanent lockout from that companion. Child mode and related safety filters may apply automatically.
You can permanently delete your account and the data tied to it from Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deleting also removes your Veil Coins, including premium coins you bought, and cannot be undone. Coin packs are one-time purchases, so there is no subscription to cancel. Details: Privacy.
Provided “as is.” No warranty of uninterrupted service. Total liability capped at amounts paid in the prior 12 months (or $0 if you paid nothing).
Terms may update; continued use means acceptance. Material changes communicated in-product when practical. Governed by laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA.
